røwn began with a simple idea: create something refined without the barrier of traditional luxury pricing.

The first piece was the Genesis Diver – Rose Gold. It started as a personal project. I wanted a watch that felt intentional and well designed, but still something I could realistically own.

That search quickly turned into a rabbit hole.

I began learning how mechanical watches are built from the inside out. Movements, cases, dials, hands, crystals, bezels. I sourced individual components, invested in the tools, and started assembling watches myself.

The first watch I built became the Genesis Diver.

My background in engineering, welding, and manufacturing gave me an appreciation for how things are built and why thoughtful design matters.

But my path eventually took a different direction.

Music led me on a 15 year journey through the industry, touring, producing on platinum records with major artists, and working with major labels. That path ultimately brought me to Los Angeles — the place where røwn was born.

When people started noticing the Genesis Diver, the response was unexpected. Compliments turned into conversations, and conversations turned into requests. Friends and customers began asking if I could build one for them or help design something of their own.

I helped a handful of people bring their ideas to life, but explaining the possibilities turned out to be harder than building the watches themselves.

At first I tried using a simple order form to guide people through the options. It didn’t solve the problem.

So I built something better.

After three months of designing, coding, and refining, the Røwn Watch Builder was created. It allows customers to design their own watch step by step, choosing the case, dial, bezel, bracelet, and movement to create something personal.

Today røwn continues to focus on the same principles that started it: thoughtful design, honest materials, and pieces meant to be worn every day.
